Kinedyne’s Kaptive Beams® are made from extruded high strength
aluminum, designed to give maximum strength at the least possible
weight. Head assemblies are all steel, zinc plated and tapered for
ease of operation. A heavy-duty, spring-loaded trigger mechanism
automatically locks the beam into the track slots. End fittings
shipped separately.
Decking/Vertical Rating: 1,500 lbs., 680 kgs. working load limit based
on evenly distributed load.
Shoring/Horizontal Rating: 1,500 lbs., 680 kgs. working load limit
based on evenly distributed load.
Note: When shoring, using a beam in a vertically positioned track, the
uniformly distributed working load limit is 1,500 lbs.,680 kgs.
Working load limits are 1/3 of the ultimate breaking strength.
